Today we are going to talk about why it is important to get a professional Hairstylist to do your hair. Have you ever gone to a hair salon, asked the hairdresser to take an inch off to realise that they cut 3 inches and its not cut straight?
Im sure most of us have, in this article we will discuss the benefits of using a professional Hairstylist to get that look you love! People are always trying to find ways to make themselves look beautiful and undoubtedly hair is the most eye catching thing. People will notice your hair before they notice your face. So what are you looking for in a hair stylist? Do you want someone to cut an inch like you asked or do you want someone who will get you the look you'll love? There are plenty of hairdressers out there but do you really want just any hairdresser doing your hair? This is why you should make an effort to find the best of them near you. Here are some of the advantages of selecting the best Hairstylist for your hair. 1. YOU WILL GET A PROPER HAIRCUT It is not easy to get a great haircut. The process of cutting hair is not just getting your scissors and taking an inch off around your head. Several factors are taken into consideration including face shape (see "Its Formal season") and the length of hair you want to keep. When you want to cut your hair to a certain length, you should be able to trust your hairdresser to know what is exactly best for you. With a professional Hairstylist you will never end up with a hairstyle with one side of your head too long and the other side too short, or left with patches on your head. The main reason to get a professional is that you will get a hair cut that suits your personal needs. 2. YOU WILL GET THE BEST HAIRSTYLES Do you ever think of trying something new with your hair? BUT your previous hairdresser asks you if your happy with " the usual?" you should make sure you have a professional Hairstylist to enjoy new trendy hairstyles. A Hairstylist will know different hairstyles that are trending and they will know exactly what will work for you and what doesn't. You don't want to try a new hairstyle and risk ending up with something ridiculous. A Hairstylist can usually make a look you want suit you and will usually find a way to make it work. 3. YOU WILL GET TIPS ON MAINTAINING AND STYLING YOUR HAIR Once you "get the look you love" your Hairstylist will give you some tips on how to maintain the style. Your Hairstylist will advise you on things you should do to ensure the style is maintained and looking good and how to style it correctly. This is a great benefit to having a professional Hairstylist. 4. THE HAIRSTYLIST KNOW THE BEST PRODUCTS FOR YOUR HAIR As well as advising you on how to keep your haircut looking great, Hairstylist's can advise you on what the best products for your hair are. Most hairdressers can advise you on products for different hair types, thin hair, dry hair, long hair, short hair or even hair that has breakage. 5. GET A PROFESSIONAL LOOKING COLOUR FOR YOUR HAIR Have you ever been to a salon to get your hair coloured only to come out with bleed lines, patchy uneven colour, or just not the colour you were expecting. A professional Hairstylist can usually achieve the result you are after and put a plan in place to achieve the result you want over a few months for a large transformation., apart from getting the colour right a hairdresser should always ask you what types of products you use in your hair e.g henna, lice treatments or what shampoos you are using. Knowing what products you use will assist the hairdresser in getting the best result for your hair. Finding a professional hairstylist is a little scary if you have had a previous bad experience so make sure you have a consultation before you start any service so you and the hairstylist know your both on the same page. I hope this has been helpful follow us on our socials for more information and pictures of current work.

Welcome back to my blog! Todays blog will be a about formal hairstyles. Formal hairstyles are an important aspect of hairstyling as they are vital for big occasions such as prom, weddings, graduations formals and much more! What's so great about them is that they can be achieved on all hair textures and lengths. In todays article I really want to help you find the style that would most compliment your face shape. As you might already know there are five head shapes: Oval, Round, Square, oblong and Heart. Choosing the correct style is an easy process and I want to share some key points for you to consider.
Oval oval face typically has a longer shape with a narrow chin. Celebrity Jessica Alba and Alicia Keys both have this shape face. For this face shape I would suggest a braided side bun or a cheek loose pony tail, both are sophisticated styles to wear to your nest event. The aim of both these styles is to add some width to the sides of the face. Round A round face appears round at the cheeks which give the face a circular shape, the face is heaviest near the ears so the aim of styling is to slim the face down. Drew Barrymore and Charlotte Church both have round faces. For this shape an asymmetrical bob with short uneven layers are a great way to add more definition to the face, when done with a side part this style will help to elongate the face. This style works well for a formal occasion as the length of the hair won't overshadow the beauty of your outfit. Square Square face shapes appear to have broad foreheads and strong jawline. Celebrity Angelina Jolie has this shape face. Centre part to knot can help add height to the face, by leaving some flyaways down you can soften your square shape. Another style is a French twist updo and side swept curls are two classic looks which are very complimentary to share face shapes. Oblong Oblong face shapes tend to appear longer than other shapes, especially the forehead and chin. Celebrities Karrie Underwood and Kelly Rowland both have this shape. Retro curls create an elegant look on oblong faces, a great way to styles is to sweep the hair to one side, pinning behind one ear and allow the curls to sit across the other shoulder. Slicked down straight centre parting is also a good look, pushing the hair behind the ears can helot make the face look wider. Heart Heart shape faces appear with a wide forehead with narrower cheek bones, slim jawline and pointed chin. Braids are a great style for heart shaped faces , this is a fashion forward hairstyle that has been seen on many celebrities and bloggers. Braids look really great with chunkier hair, so a great way to add more volume is to add some hair extensions. If you are unsure what style will suit you can always call in to the salon for a free consultation to find the best style for you. Stay connected and follow our socials. |
